Important Two Peas news!

Hello and Happy Holidays!

Christmas is fast approaching! Which means you have until this SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16th to paint your pottery so it will be ready BEFORE Christmas.

Here's some other news we thought you'd like to know about. First is our Holiday Hours.
From Tuesday, December 19 thru Friday, December December 22nd we will be open our normal business hours of 11am-9pm.

Saturday, December 23rd
we will be open 11am to 4pm.

Closed:
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The studio will open back up on Tuesday December 26 thru Thursday, December 28th from 11am-6pm.

Closed:
December 29th -January 4th.

We'll open back up on Friday, January 5th. Normal hours.

Hopefully, that isn't too confusing. Of course, any questions give us a call at the studio and we'll be glad to answer them for you.

Our second bit of news is that we have a new web address to go along with our new studio. From now on, you can visit us at www.twopeasinapot.net . Currently, all our old information is still posted but we're hoping that by the new year, everything will be up to date.

Finally, this weekend will be a big one for us. We have a group of 35 painters coming in from 2pm-5pm. Which means that unfortunately, we won't have room for any of our 'off the street' painters. But we'd like to offer you a coupon to come back after 5pm to paint:

Just remember that this coupon MUST be presented at the time of service and you can use it for everyone on your ticket (meaning all members of a family can get 1/2 off Studio Time or all friends on ONE ticket.)

Because we plan on having an EXTREMELY busy weekend we urge all painters to SIGN their name on EVERY piece of pottery that is painted. Also, please let us know if this is an actual gift item that you're painting.

We hope to see you over the Christmas Holidays!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all our wonderful Two Peas customers!

Possible Closing....Hopefully relocating

Hi everyone!
I'm sure most of you have heard the sad news by now. In case you haven't, long story short is that we can no longer stay in our current location at Bower Pkwy. We have until November 30th to move out. We are desperately trying to find us a new home close by but in the meantime we have to act as if we're actually closing our doors for good.
What this means for you, our loyal customers, is that because of the circumstances you have until Sunday, November 26th to come in to our studio one last time and paint those precious mugs, plates and banks. Although we will still be here on November 27-29th, we have to use those days to pack up the store. Of course you're more than welcome to come in and pick up your pottery. Also, if it ends up that we have to close our doors for good, we'll be having a "Fixtures Sale" those days and selling everything that isn't nailed down.

We're really hoping it won't come to that. But like I said, we have to plan as if we're closing down the studio for good but pray that we'll be finding a new home before then.

Because of all this we have to decided to extend our hours. Here's our new and Holiday studio hours:

Tuesday-Saturday 10am-10pm
Wednesday November 22nd 10am-5pm
CLOSED THANKSGIVING DAY
Sundays 1:30pm-6pm

Yes! We are open the Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving! That will be your final weekend to paint so make sure you make plans to spend some time at the 'Pea'!

Thank you to all our wonderful customers who have come in and made suggestions about where to move. You all have gone above and beyond what a normal customer is and the thought of not seeing you all has truly made us sad.
And to the rest of our customers....THANK YOU for all your wonderful support and business over the last 8 years. We're not throwing in the towel yet, so keep an eye out for an announcement concerning our new location!!

Sincerely,
Two Peas in a Pot

September 2006 Fall News!

Hi all!
We have tons of new and exciting things happening here at 'The Pea'. Lots of changes for the better and great deals starting in October and throughout this fall.

First up, a reminder that starting October 1st we will no longer have an hourly studio fee. Adults will be a flat fee of $8 and kids 12 and under will be $7. That's a general savings of a buck or two! How fun! We just know that this will take the extra pressure off of trying to finish your masterpiece within an hourly time frame.

Next, we're having a 'KILL THE CLOCK' party on Saturday, October 7th. Everyone who comes in to paint with get 1/2 off their studio fee ($4 adult, $3.50 kids) and we're staying open until 10pm for all you night owls! Of course we'll be bringing chocolate. Feel free to bring in any other party goodies you'd like.

In other Two Peas news...Saturday, October 21, 2006 has been declared 'NATIONAL PAINT YOUR OWN POTTERY DAY'! Make sure you mark this one on your calendars! Here's a list of the fun activities we have planned for that day:

1. The first 20 painters thru the door receive a free flat ornament! (1 per family/or ticket)
2. Register to win a Two Peas in a Pot Gift Certificate worth $25!
3. Special painting workshops demonstrating bubble and masking techniques. (Call for specific times on each workshop.)
4. There will be face painting between 1-5pm.
5. Everyone who checks out will get to draw a prize from our coupon bowl! Everyone gets a deal! Plus more! Come on in and check it out! You do not want to miss this!

Just for all you Halloween lovers, when you come in to paint on Saturday, October 27th wear your costume and you will not have to pay a studio fee! What a great excuse to celebrate early!!

As you can see, just about every Saturday in October we have something going on. Please mark these dates down. You do not want to miss out on these specials.

In November we're going to be having a 'HANDPRINT WORKSHOP'. Get a jump on those holiday presents. We'll be here to help you place those precious handprints on plates, mugs, tiles and anything else you can think of. The date you need to remember for this is Friday, November 3rd. Start thinking now of some cute handprint ideas and don't forget - we have idea books and samples of handprints throughout the studio to help you.

Finally we have some more exciting news to announce! Starting in November we will be open on Sunday's from 1:30pm to 6pm. Extra hours to get that holiday painting done.

Speaking of the holidays....We know it's only September but it's NEVER too early to beat the rush and get those holiday presents finished. Also now is the time to book those holiday parties. Our December time slots fill up quickly so the sooner the better.

Whew! That's a lot but it's all good news for you. Mark these dates down and don't forget, if you're having a party of 5 or more, call us! We'd love to hold a table just for you!

Happy Painting!!
